The original site suffered from uneven ground levels and poor drainage near the house foundations—a common issue for properties in the Essex and London areas. The side area was also underutilised, acting as a “dead zone” for weeds and mud.

Our team began by excavating the old surface and installing a high-spec, permeable sub-base. This ensures that even during heavy British downpours, water is directed away from the property, protecting the damp-proof course and preventing pooling.
